Do you really want to wait for a Colorado wedding now? In the Autumn of 2020 I officiated a wedding ceremony for a couple that had planned a large wedding in the summer of 2020 with me as their Western Slope wedding officiant.
They put it off in hopes the pandemic would be over soon.
When they realized that no one really knew when it would end, they decided to have a very small outdoor wedding and have a big celebration when it felt safe to do so.
Another couple I married in the Summer was posting it live on facebook! That was a first for me, but why not? Comments rolled in and their friends felt included, while the bride and groom felt honored.
Getting married is a big decision. It changes you energetically regardless of how long you have been together. And Nature is a powerful witness! There are so many beautiful, memorable and uncrowed places to have a Colorado wedding here on the Western Slope.
I believe you are best served by following your gut instincts. If you are feeling a pull to be married sooner than later – do it! I am happy to help you figure out the logistics of the ceremony.
There are many places; here are a few to get you started: Ouray rental places, Yankee Boy Basin in Ouray, The Farm in Ridgway, Ridgway State Park, Montrose Botanical Gardens, Lost Lake near Paonia, and Palisade has so many vineyards, as does Paonia these days! I can help you find your spot.
Contact me for a free consultation, and if it feels right we can move forward by me interviewing you and getting what I need to help you create a fitting, sweet and memorable ceremony.
